Blackpool Business Expo has revealed its full line-up ahead of this year’s event taking place at the Village Hotel on Wednesday 26th September between 9am-3pm.
This year, issues such as health and well-being in the work place and knowing how to market your business online effectively, are top of the agenda, and visitors will have the opportunity to learn some tricks of the trade to increase productivity and visibility for their businesses.
Event organisers, Launch Events NW, are introducing ‘Learning Huddles’ to their Blackpool visitors for the first time. These interactive business advisory tools are designed to give visitors the opportunity to get involved with the learning process and ask questions in ‘real time’, so attendees will get increased value and do-able actions they can take away with them that day. With subjects surrounding Cyber Security, knowing how to market your business online effectively and tips about keeping a level head through it all, on offer.
Jo Leigh from Launch Events NW, said of these sessions “With traditional seminars you can find yourself lost in the information and advice you are given, trying to make mental notes of things that you will find useful and questions you want to ask at the end. But when the time comes you may not get the opportunity to do so for one reason or another, like there simply running out of time. So when we thought about the ‘Learning Huddles’, we wanted these to be more intimate, with around 20 or so people, so the informative value is still there, but people are encouraged to get involved and ask their questions there and then.”
As well as the huddles, there will be dedicated ‘Drop In Zones’ throughout the venue including Health and wellbeing in the work place hosted by Guide Dot You, and as Business Expo’s are the perfect opportunity to network with other local businesses, they’ll be a dedicated ‘Networking Zone’ hosted by Hardman McNeal.
